Mr Yum is a mobile menu that customers order and pay from, designed specifically for hospitality and entertainment venues.
Mr Yum is the brainchild of Kim Teo, Kerry Osborn, Andrei Miulescu and Adrian Osman. Traditional, text-based menus hadn’t changed with the times, and they saw an opportunity to create a digital menu that would be much more visual, interesting and appealing.
“The right people contribute their talent and enthusiasm, keep engagement high and spur growth.”

I’m Jess, Head of Investor Relations at Airtree, and I’m proud to say I’ve been with Airtree from the start. We began as a startup ourselves, growing from a team of three to the 40 team members we have today. Over the last ten years, I’ve worn a number of different hats, but I have always enjoyed working with our investors—they put a huge amount of trust in us and it’s great to take them along the journey of the fund and their investment.
A motto I live by
Patience is the most underrated virtue. Don’t be disheartened by failures. At least some element of it is always going to be inevitable. It’s about finding the alternative route. That’s how I like to operate.
Why tech and startups excite me
I love how collaborative the Australian startup community is. Most founders are more than happy to share their experiences and pay-it-forward to those starting out. So don’t be afraid to reach out to those a little further ahead than you.
